Introduction Elbow Lake Lodge is nestled between the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Voyageurs National Park. Located just 15 miles from Cook, MN, we are a gateway to Minnesota's Northern wilderness. Enjoy one of Minnesota's pristine lakes nearly all to yourself. We are the only resort on Elbow Lake and enjoy a very small population of lake residents making Elbow Lake one of the most romantic, and private getaways in the state. Elbow Lake Lodge is a member of the Lake Vermilion Resort Association (LVRA.) Our restaurant, marina, mini-golf and other services are open to all guests of other LVRA members. Accomodations Nine cabins are available seasonally and 6 suites are available year-round. "Fish Tales" our restaurant and "The Edge" mini-golf are open to the public seasonally. "Marketplace" is a coffee bar and general store located in our main lodge building. Marketplace offers a variety of simple meals, snacks and basic groceries and supplies. The marina at Elbow Lake Lodge provides, parking, storage, and basic boating and fishing supplies. The harbor is sheltered from large water and is staffed seasonally. We proudly serve the areas around Cook, Tower, Orr, Crane Lake, Buyck, and Ely, MN. Any resident or guest staying on Pelican Lake, Lake Vermilion, Crane Lake, Echo Lake, or that area can easily drive to Elbow Lake. Are you staying on Lake Vermilion this summer? Call Chris Ashbach at 651-492-7092 and we will mail you coupons for our restaurant, mini-golf and lodging. Our Guests During the mid-summer we cater primarily to families. However, we also host corporate retreats and meetings, weddings, seminars, honeymooners and other vacationers. Family Vacations Elbow Lake Lodge has a reputation for being a great family vacation destination. We have a high rate of return with our guests and continually improve. Our housekeeping, maintenance, and free guest activities are very important to us. You can be assured that when you stay at Elbow Lake Lodge you will be at a well-kept, clean, family-friendly resort. Few resorts our size can offer what we do. With a capacity of around 100 people we are in a unique position to offer a small resort feel but offer the services of a large resort. We have a seasonal restaurant, catering service, serviced marina, mini-golf, planned child program, miles of hiking trails and miles of biking trails. We control about 200 acres of wilderness around us, we are the only resort on the lake, and we are a few minutes from snowmobile trails, cross country ski trials, great canoeing rivers, and more. Weddings, Receptions, and Honeymoons Our size and location make Elbow Lake a fantastic destination for your wedding. Our wedding package reserves the entire resort including our ceremony sites, reception area, restaurant, bar, and all common areas just for your party. By reserving the entire resort, we guarantee you have an indoor and outdoor venue, and our staff's full attention. Elbow Lake Lodge has an experienced on-site coordinator, an extensive list of hand-picked wedding vendors and the flexibility to customize your wedding weekend to meet both your budget and your dreams. After your big day, make sure you enjoy yourself by honeymooning at Elbow Lake Lodge. We offer packages for Honeymoons year round and highly encourage newlyweds to enjoy a Minnesota summer while it lasts. and catering services. Because we operate as a family vacation destination
in the middle of the summer, we offer a variety of activitites, and
services catered to your employees families. This way, you can have
a dedicated retreat for business and keep your employees and their families
together. Rates Our nightly rate varies depending upon time of year, number of guests, and which cabin or suite you reserve. However, you can expect between $130-$500 per night. We offer promotions, incentives and sales from time to time for members of our VIP club. Beach We own one of the nicest beaches in Northern Minnesota. It is about
700 feet of fine sand that faces west to enjoy the afternoon sun and
sunsets. This is a perfect place to swim. 120 feet from shore, the depth
is 3 feet. You have to go over 200 feet out to get to a depth you can
dive in. The shallow water and afternoon sun exposure lets us enjoy
water temperatures much higher than you would find at other area resorts.
